1. Introduction

Rapid Mobility (“Rapid,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our website and services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices available to users. By using Rapid Mobility’s website or submitting information to us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Rapid Mobility collects limited personal information.

The only personal information we knowingly collect is:

  • Email addresses, when voluntarily submitted by users (for example, through contact forms or inquiries).

We do not knowingly collect:

  • Names (unless voluntarily included in communications)

  • Payment information

  • Location data

  • Device identifiers

  • Cookies or tracking data beyond what is provided by Google Sites

3. Use of Information

Email addresses collected by Rapid Mobility are used solely for communication purposes, including:

  • Responding to inquiries

  • Providing updates related to Rapid Mobility

  • Facilitating collaboration or correspondence initiated by the user

Email addresses are not sold, shared, or distributed to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Rapid Mobility’s website is hosted on Google Sites (sites.google.com). As a result:

  • Data submitted through the site may be processed or stored on Google’s infrastructure

  • Google’s own privacy practices may apply in addition to this policy

Rapid Mobility does not control Google’s data handling practices. Users are encouraged to review Google’s Privacy Policy independently.

5. Data Security and Risk Acknowledgement

Rapid Mobility takes reasonable steps to act responsibly with user information. However:

  • No online system can be guaranteed to be fully secure

  • Users acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transmitting information electronically

By submitting an email address, the user understands and accepts that Rapid Mobility cannot guarantee absolute protection against data breaches or unauthorized access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Rapid Mobility assumes no legal responsibility for data leakage, unauthorized access, or damages resulting from the use of this website or submission of personal information

  • Rapid Mobility shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use our services

7. Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of:

  • The Province of British Columbia

  • The laws of Canada, as applicable

Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of British Columbia, Canada.

8. Organizational Status

Rapid Mobility is a student-led organization and does not currently maintain a public physical office or mailing address. Communications are conducted electronically.
